No matter how many people answer these questions, they give different answers. But think about all those "whats” at once – there is only one place that totally corresponds all of those features. This is the Indian River, which along with Glanvillia Swamp borders the southern edge of Portsmouth.

If you are one of numerous fans of the Hollywood blockbuster "Pirates of the Caribbean” you might be interested in visiting one of the places where the film was made. It’s one of the most picturesque and beautiful beaches of Dominica island. A 500-yard-long Hampstead beach was chosen by Gore Verbinski for the "Dead Man’s Chest” due to its perfect match with his vision of a pirate island in the Caribbean Sea.
Why not to spend a beautiful day in the mountains? Especially if this day is quiet and sunny; especially if you are on the Dominica Island. So, I decided to climb to the summit of the most beautiful mountain in Dominica – Morne Trois Pitons. This mount is Dominica’s second highest peak and one of the most spectacular mountain trails in the Caribbean. Of course, this is not a trip that should be taken alone. Usually a group of several people is formed and they are guided by a person who is familiar to these places. Our guide was Jerome, a pleasant man about sixty, a resident of the island. To get to the starting point of our trip was not difficult at all. Buses that pass Pont Casse are usually in route to Castle Bruce, Marigot or La Plaine. West Bridge in Roseau is a place to catch buses in this direction.
Do you believe in paradise lost? Personally I do. People were not worthy everything God gave and them and thus they were punished and thrown away from the wonderful and magnificent Eden, the blessed land of God. However, mankind was given the second chance. This chance is called Dominica, the land that may be the echo of paradise lost. Dominica is the paradise found. It is one of the best possibilities to imagine what the real Eden looked like, as the island of the Caribbean definitely bears some resemblance with its prototype.
